About True Life Clinic

Our Story

True Life Clinic exists for the glory of God. We believe the purpose of all things is to glorify God, and that every human life is created in His image with immeasurable worth. Because of God’s love for us in Christ, we are called not only to love in word, but to love in deed and in truth.

The vision for True Life Clinic was first stirred in the heart of John Privett, lead elder of Lifehouse Church. While praying through 1, 2, and 3rd John in 2016, he was particularly struck by 1 John 3:17-18, which calls God’s people to see those in need and respond not only with words, but with tangible care and compassion. From that conviction, he sensed a vision to form a medical clinic to serve those in our community who lacked access to healthcare.

Over time, that vision became a shared calling within Lifehouse Church. Jase Dean, elder and emergency physician also sensed a clear conviction that he was meant to join John Privett in this vision and help carry it forward. Having joyfully served others within the church and local community through his medical training, he recognized this as the time to step in and help bring the idea of a needs-based medical clinic to life. With the invaluable support and guidance of board members Jim Stennett, Chris Pangallo, and Darrell Harriman, that shared conviction and calling ultimately developed into what is now True Life Clinic.

True Life Clinic is now a nonprofit medical clinic serving uninsured/underinsured low-income residents of Spring Hill, Tennessee. While we provide urgent and primary care services, our deeper aim is simple: to serve people with dignity, compassion, and hope, as a tangible expression of Christ’s love.

Our Mission

Provide compassionate, Christ-centered care for those in need—meeting physical needs with quality medical treatment and offering every patient the opportunity to hear the gospel, receive prayer, and experience the healing love of Jesus Christ.

Our Vision

To see lives transformed in body, soul, and spirit as we align with the great commission of Jesus. We seek to be a place where medical needs are met at no or low cost, while the hope of the gospel brings lasting healing and wholeness to our community in partnership with Lifehouse Church, Spring Hill TN.
